ISTANBUL- Turkish Airlines (TK) expands its global network by launching flights to Santiago (SCL), Chile, marking its 10th country served in the Americas.
The new route, set to commence on December 18, 2024, will operate from Istanbul (IST) to Santiago four times weekly, with a stopover in Sao Paulo in both directions.

This addition brings Turkish Airlines’ total destinations in the Americas to 26, reinforcing its growing regional presence. The airline now offers passengers seamless access to Santiago, a city known for its rich history, cultural attractions, and stunning Andean backdrop.

Turkish Airlines offers complementary services to enhance passenger experiences. The “Stopover Istanbul” program provides a free hotel stay for layovers of 20 hours or more. The “TourIstanbul” initiative offers free guided tours of Istanbul’s landmarks during layovers between six and 24 hours.
