The conflict escalated rapidly, startling other travelers. The flight crew swiftly intervened, resolving the dispute and averting potential departure delays.
Social media platforms soon featured videos of the incident, sparking widespread public reaction.
The X user wrote, “Just another day on a flight in India. This happened on the IndiGo flight from Guwahati to Delhi over the weekend. The crew and ground staff did their best to control the situation.”

Many Issues Recently
Passengers on a Delhi-Varanasi IndiGo flight experienced discomfort on Saturday, September 6, allegedly due to air conditioning system malfunctions. The airline issued an apology for the incident.
Videos depicting passenger distress went viral on social media on Thursday. Reports indicated that some passengers fainted from extreme heat and suffocation. Others resorted to using magazines as makeshift fans.
IndiGo addressed the Delhi-Varanasi flight incident in a statement, acknowledging the discomfort and explaining that cabin temperatures were adjusted based on passenger requests. The airline emphasized that cabin crew promptly assisted affected passengers.
A similar incident occurred in June on an IndiGo Delhi-Bagdogra flight. Passengers reported non-functional air conditioning for nearly an hour, causing breathing difficulties for older travelers. The flight experienced delays due to these issues.
