TOKYO- Japan Airlines (JL) is thrilled to unveil a special livery on its Boeing 787-8 aircraft for its international flights, celebrating the 2025 World Exposition (EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan) held in Yumeshima, Osaka, from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
Commencing operations on June 3, this unique design features the Expo’s official character ‘MYAKU-MYAKU’ alongside other original elements of EXPO 2025.

The announcement follows the earlier introduction of a special livery on J-AIR’s Embraer 190 aircraft, based at Osaka International (Itami) Airport, marking the second phase in this series.
The introduction of this second aircraft aims to familiarize both domestic and international travelers with EXPO 2025, encouraging visits not only to the exposition but also to various destinations across Japan.
Details regarding the launch date and flight schedules will be available on the JAL website. Additionally, plans are underway to introduce a third special livery aircraft for domestic flights in the future. Stay tuned for more updates.
