DUBAI- Today (May 6, 2024), Emirates (EK) unveiled the initial roster of destinations slated to be serviced by its Airbus A350 aircraft, set to commence operations in September 2024.
With the addition of 10 new A350s to its fleet by March 31, 2025, Emirates intends to deploy its latest aircraft model to nine destinations in the coming months, providing passengers with its latest signature cabin offerings.
Emirates A350 Routes
The inaugural fleet of 10 Emirates A350 aircraft will feature three cabin classes, comprising 32 next-generation Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 generously spaced Economy Class seats.
Furthermore, these aircraft will primarily serve short to medium-haul destinations within the Emirates network, with Bahrain as the debut destination.
As Emirates introduces its initial A350s into service, customers will have increased opportunities to enjoy its highly acclaimed Premium Economy product and experience its next-generation Business Class cabins for the first time, particularly on short and medium-haul routes spanning the Middle East and GCC, West Asia, and Europe.

Where will Emirates Fly its A350s?
Newly delivered aircraft featuring the airline’s latest cabins are set to commence scheduled service to the following cities:
In the Middle East/GCC:
- Emirates will inaugurate its first A350 service to Bahrain on the daily EK839/840 route starting September 15. The frequency of A350 services will progressively increase to encompass two Bahrain services, with the second service commencing on November 1.
- The first Emirates A350 will touch down in Kuwait on the daily EK853/854 route on September 16.
- Muscat’s daily EK866/867 service will be operated by the A350 starting December 1.
West Asia Routes:
- The Emirates A350 will be deployed on EK502/503 to Mumbai beginning October 27.
- The A350 will serve Ahmedabad’s daily EK538/539 service from October 27.
- Colombo’s fourth daily service, EK654/655, will be operated by the A350 from January 1, 2025.
In Europe:
- Lyon will receive daily service with the Emirates A350 starting from December 1.
- The A350 will serve bologna from December 1.
- Edinburgh will rejoin the Emirates network from November 4, operated by the A350. Further details will be provided soon.

Emirates will unveil additional destinations as new aircraft are integrated into its fleet in the forthcoming months.
Tickets for Emirates flights to A350 destinations are now available for purchase on emirates.com, the Emirates App, or through travel agents.
Passengers can anticipate the A350’s spacious and tranquil cabin, characterized by high ceilings, ample bin space, and customizable mood lighting to reduce fatigue and jet lag. Further details regarding Emirates A350 seating features and cabin enhancements will be disclosed in the upcoming months.
Emirates has placed orders for 65 A350-900s, meticulously strategized to bolster the airline’s future expansion initiatives and align with Dubai’s D33 economic agenda, spearheaded by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to add 400 cities to Dubai’s foreign trade landscape within the next decade.
