GURUGRAM- Malaysia Airlines (MH) and IndiGo (6E), a premier airline in India, have officially announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This agreement establishes a codeshare partnership and mutual cooperation to enhance connectivity and convenience for travelers between Malaysia and India. Through this collaboration, both airlines will offer expanded options and flexibility for seamless journeys.
Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo Codeshare
Malaysia Airlines will enhance its reach into India by serving as the marketing carrier for IndiGo-operated flights. At the same time, IndiGo passengers will gain access to a wider range of Southeast Asia destinations through Malaysia Airlines’ extensive network.
This reciprocal agreement ensures a smooth travel experience for passengers of both airlines, facilitating seamless connections and integrated travel itineraries, among other benefits.
Mr. Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, expressed satisfaction in revealing the forthcoming codeshare agreement with Malaysia Airlines, Malaysia’s national carrier.
