GURUGRAM- IndiGo Airlines (6E) has unveiled 11 fresh connections as part of its expanded codeshare agreement with Australia’s national carrier, Qantas Airways (QF), as stated by airline officials.
Commencing from March 31, ticket sales for these routes commenced on March 12. IndiGo patrons can now traverse key tourist and economic hubs in Australia, spanning from Sydney and Melbourne to Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, and Perth.
IndiGo Qantas 11 New Routes
With these additional codeshare connections, travelers have the opportunity to seamlessly continue their journeys within Australia, availing Qantas-operated domestic flights to three extra cities—Adelaide, Canberra, and Gold Coast.
This expansion aims to offer Indian tourists and business and leisure travelers a broader array of options to explore destinations across Australia, particularly during the forthcoming summer, as officials highlighted.
The airline presently provides travel options to Singapore with seamless connectivity to Qantas’ flights, which link Singapore and Australia.

In 2022, Qantas and IndiGo finalized a codeshare agreement, enabling Qantas customers traveling on non-stop flights between Australia and India to access 21 destinations in India via IndiGo.
In November 2023, IndiGo announced connections to Australia’s Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane under the ongoing codeshare partnership with Qantas.
