DUBAI- This week, UAE flag carrier Emirates (EK) submitted several modifications to its operational schedule for the Northern Summer 2024, which is set to take effect from March 31, 2024.
As of December 2023, Emirates operates flights to one domestic destination and 133 international destinations across 73 countries.
Emirates Summer 2024 Schedule Changes
As of December 20, 2023, the anticipated operational adjustments, as reported by Aeroroutes, are outlined as follows:
- Dubai to Barcelona: EK185/186 A380 service maintained, replacing the 777-300ER.
- Dubai to Beijing Capital: EK308/309 777-300ER service maintained, replacing the previously scheduled A380 (resulting in a total of 1 daily each for 777 and A380).
- Dubai to Johannesburg: From March 31 to August 31, 2024, EK761/762 777-300ER will replace A380 (resulting in 2 daily 777-300ER and 1 daily A380).
- Dubai to London Gatwick: From March 31 to July 31, 2024, EK011/012 777-300ER replaces A380 (resulting in 2 daily A380 and 1 daily 777).
- Dubai to Lyon:
- From March 31 to April 30, 2024, the 7th weekly service resumes with 777-300ER (1 daily 777-300ER).
- From May 1 to May 31, 2024, 777-200LR replaces -300ER, 1 daily.
- From June 1, 2024, 6 of 7 weekly flights (Day x1) with 777-200LR replacing -300ER.
- Dubai to Madrid: From April 1, 2024, the 2nd daily EK143/144 service resumes with 777-300ER (resulting in 1 daily each for 777 and A380).
- Dubai to Mahe Island: From June 7, 2024, the 14th weekly service resumes (resulting in 2 daily 777-300ER).
- Dubai to Milan Malpensa – New York JFK: A380 service resumes from March 31, 2024, replacing 777-300ER (resulting in overall Milan service returning to 2 daily A380).
- Dubai to Nice: A380 service resumes from June 1, 2024, replacing 777-300ER.
- Dubai to St. Petersburg: From March 31, 2024, 6 weekly services will be maintained with 777-300ER instead of the initially planned increase to 7 weekly.
- Dubai to Seattle: From June 4, 2024, the 7th weekly service resumes with 777-300ER.
- Dubai to Tel Aviv: From April 1, 2024, the tentative service resumption was reduced from initially filed 2 daily to 1, with 777-300ER operating.
- Dubai to Tunis: From July 4, 2024, the 6th weekly service resumes with 777-300ER.
- Dubai to Washington Dulles: From October 1, 2024, A380 service resumes, replacing 777-300ER.
