SAO PAULO- Emirates Airlines (EK) marked the launch of its Premium Economy class in Brazil by hosting an event featuring a tour of an upgraded four-class Airbus A380 aircraft.
Commencing at Guarulhos Airport, Terminal 3, attendees were treated to a guided tour showcasing the new product and improved interior design across all cabin classes on the Emirates A380.
Emirates Premium Economy in São Paulo
The focus of the event was on the exclusive Premium Economy experience, which has been available in Brazil since November and is set to be deployed on all daily flights between São Paulo and Dubai starting December 11.
Stephane Perard, Emirates’ Country Manager for Brazil and Argentina, emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing customers with more travel choices, making it the sole carrier offering Premium Economy on direct flights between São Paulo and the Middle East.
João Pita, Chief Commercial Officer at Guarulhos International Airport, noted that the introduction of Emirates Premium Economy in the Brazilian market would enhance the passenger experience, particularly for long-distance flights with a significant corporate traveler segment and audiences preferring premium travel.
The Premium Economy service was introduced in São Paulo on November 19, marking the initial launch of this class in Emirates’ Latin American network.
Currently available on three out of seven weekly flights, the Premium Economy offering will be expanded to all daily flights between São Paulo and Dubai starting December 11. Additionally, services to Tokyo Narita, a popular destination for Brazilian travelers, will feature the Premium Economy class from December 20.
