GURUGRAM- Air India (AI), the prominent global airline of India, is gearing up to establish a non-stop connection between Delhi (DEL) and Phuket (HKT), the popular island destination in Thailand, starting from December 15, 2023.
This service is designed to cater to the growing demand for a convenient air link between the two cities, facilitating both tourism and trade. Additionally, it aligns with Air India’s strategic expansion initiatives in the Far East and South East Asia.
Air India Flights to Phuket
The flights, designated as AI 378 and AI 379, will be operated using an Airbus A320neo aircraft with a seating capacity of 162 (150 in Economy and 12 in Business Class).
AI 378 will depart from Delhi at 0110 and reach Phuket at 0710 on the same day. The return flight, AI 379, will take off from Phuket at 0810 and land in Delhi at 1050, all in local time.
Initially starting with a four-flights-a-week schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the service is slated to transition to a daily operation in January 2024.

Currently, Air India operates a total of 26 flights per week to Bangkok, featuring daily non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai, along with six weekly flights from Kolkata.
Additionally, Air India passengers can seamlessly connect through Bangkok to and from 10 popular destinations in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia via the extensive network of Bangkok Airways, with whom Air India has established an interline partnership.
Bookings for these flights are now open through various channels, including Air India’s website, mobile app, and travel agents, including online travel agents.
