SYDNEY- Qantas (QF) has introduced a comprehensive travel management tool designed to streamline and oversee travel needs for nearly half a million small and medium-sized Australian businesses.
Developed specifically for Qantas Business Rewards, this tailored booking solution was created in response to member feedback addressing the challenges associated with managing business travel. The tool addresses the evolving demands of corporate and SME travel, especially as these segments rebound to levels observed before the impact of COVID-19.
Qantas New Booking System
After a successful trial in August, the enhanced experience is now being extended to the program’s over 480,000 members. This upgraded offering includes:
- A unified booking tool for businesses, simplifying the booking process and overseeing travel needs such as flights, hotels, and rental cars.
- The flexibility to make individual bookings for flights, hotels, or car rentals or to consolidate them into one comprehensive trip using the new Manage Trip feature.
- The ability to establish and implement business travel policies automatically applies them to bookings for increased efficiency and gives travel managers visibility into booking behavior.
- Real-time access to comprehensive data reporting and analytics allows for identifying trends that can assist in managing business travel costs and facilitating the preparation and exportation of expense reports.
- Convenient management of Qantas Business Rewards program benefits and access to exclusive partner offers.
Integrated into the Qantas Business Rewards membership, the new travel management experience enhances the program’s value.
Current benefits encompass flight discounts and accumulating points on everyday business and travel expenditures, spanning Qantas flights, fuel, hotels, car rentals, global payments, credit cards, and utility bills.
