DIAL officials declared the new “Avian Excess” schedule will deliver excess baggage of domestic and international travelers at their doorstep anyplace in the country at an affordable price.

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) on Thursday declared a “pocket-friendly” doorstep delivery service for excess luggage of passengers traveling through Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).

- DIAL officials declared the latest“Avian Excess” program will transport excess luggage of domestic and international passengers at their doorstep everywhere in the country at an affordable price.
“In these pandemic times, secured, convenient, and stress-free journey along with heavy baggage is very difficult for flyer.
Our excess baggage delivery service will not only help travelers in flying stress-free but also save them from standing in baggage check-in and pick-up queues at the terminals.
Completely they have to do is maintain their baggage at an affordable cost and fly hassle-free,” said Video Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of DIAL.
Terminal 3 of the Delhi airport

To avail of the service, flyers can visit the Avaan Excess counter at Terminal 3 of the Delhi airport to schedule their excess baggage.
Officials said that flyers can choose the option of getting their luggage delivered by air, which will reach within 72 hours, or by road, which will be handed over in four to seven days.

Officials said the booked baggage will also be insured by the concessionaire.
The service will be suitable for senior citizens or those moving from one place to another, who may be visiting with a lot of luggage, said officials from the Delhi airport.
