Being a flight attendant is not an easy job. Dealing with hundreds of passengers inside a confined space is not everyone’s cup of tea.
Many human norms seem to dissipate along with the ground below & it can be very challenging to say the least.
The profession of a flight attendant is difficult and demanding, but at the same time it’s glamorous too.
How do we get to the answer to scrounge for the best for our audience?
Singapore Airlines is voted the World's Best Cabin Crew by air travellers. With Garuda Indonesia in second place, ANA All Nippon Airways is in the third place.
The above answers are based on awards given as per SKYTRAX.
The World Airline Awards from Skytrax are coveted Quality accolades for the airline industry. And, it is a global benchmark of airline excellence.
Flight attendants and Cabin Crew
Skytrax has published their list of the world’s best airline cabin crew.
- This measures everything from friendliness and enthusiasm to efficiency and attention.
There’s no doubt, flight attendants are definitely the face of the airline they represent.
In the current ruinous competition, airlines are giving particular thought to the selection and appearance of their flight attendants.
From their height, figures and smile to their uniform, flight attendants are the most important aspect of the advertisement of any airline.
The World’s Best Airline Flight Attendants: Performance
The Best Airline Cabin Crew awards recognise the highest all-round performance of cabin & flight attendant staff.
• Hard service characteristics: E.g. techniques, efficiency, attention etc.
• Soft service characteristics: E.g. staff enthusiasm, attitude, friendliness and hospitality.
The first thing many people are bound to notice about the top-10 on the list is that every single airline, except for Qatar Airways, is Asian carriers.
The flight attendants on many Asian carriers are certainly outstanding. However, it is a surprise to see Qatar further down the list. • Even after also being rated the Number 1 Airline by Skytrax this year.
No U.S. carriers feature in the top 10, and not even in top 20! Despite the services have improved on American carriers over the last few years, there is still a way to go to compete with many of the Asian airlines.
This had been an observation. We have no intentions to defame or demean any Airline on purpose. The below list is solely owned by SKYTRAX. @a2zblog.in is not responsible for misunderstandings. Below answers are based on real customer reviews and satisfaction ratings.
1. Singapore Airlines
Singapore flag carrier does offer consistently outstanding. Consistency is where many other airlines may squander their hopes.
Lots of other carriers have split fleets, that passengers may seldom notice when flying.
But with variations in training and crew schedules between internal fleets. You can take an example of such as that of British Airways. This can be reflected on different routes for the same airline.
2. Garuda Indonesia
Garuda Indonesia makes it to second on the list. However, it has recently faced controversy after banning inflight photos of the cabin.
This was the airline’s response to receiving a poor review from an airline vlogger where business class menus were scribbled down in handwriting after the airline also ran out of wine in business class.
After threatening to take legal action against the vlogger. Garuda has since backed down. But the situation could well make it difficult for the airline to retain a top spot next year.
Even after management’s strategy, despite the actual cabin crew doing their best in a difficult situation.
3. ANA All Nippon Airways
After traveling at least once, you could understand why customers or aviation fans highly praise Japanese (type) airlines.
Although the seating might hinder your comfort but the food & beverages could help you forgotten the uncomfortable feeling of the seats.
Hear from a passenger-
”The food is really amazing; hot enough, taste delicious, and the most important thing is that after you have your dining finished. The flight attendants will serve you drink Every 15 mins with a different beverages each time. And, I have never experienced this on other airlines.”
The attitude of the flight attendants are perfect; with smile on their face, try to help everything that they can, being professional all the time (Including the ground service as well). I strongly recommend ANA for other visitors to Japan.

Airlines king QATAR AIRWAYS reside with 5 star services and excellent standards and procedures. Staff is amazing and very comfortable. The most important thing their lifestyle and culture is a level up too good.
Hear from a customer: ”The QSuite is great for a long flight that gives the privacy and space for a light sleeper like me. Qatar keeps up the comfy relaxing as well as reassuring of the cleaning standard throughout the flight. • The cabin attendants are professional and friendly, the lounge at Doha is awesome to take a short walk to stretch your legs before connecting to another flight.”
One of the best airlines to fly with. Safe, reliable and on time, especially in Covid times. Impeccable service, great attitude from ground and in cabin staff. High level of service quality.
10. China Airlines
During a China Airlines from Taipei to Los Angeles, a cabin manager – who wished to remain anonymous – was briefed about an elderly passenger travelling alone who would require special assistance.
You must read the complete incident to understand the affection with which the staff hosts you at China Airline.
The manager ensured that the man was greeted, made comfortable, and told assistance was always available. But when he saw the old man, who reminded him of his grandfather, he got involved himself.
After take-off, the cabin manager noticed the passenger having difficulty using his cutlery. He approached him, and helped the man enjoy his meal.
The airlines make sure assistance is always ready for passengers' arrival at the airport. The service and hospitality is exceptionally remarkable!
