False Tip Causes Bomb threat on Delhi-Patna SpiceJet Flight, Culprit Found to be Mentally Unstable.
A passenger travelling in Delhi – Patna SpiceJet flight called Delhi police control room reporting bomb at 7.50 am. Following the warning, all 48 passengers were offloaded and sent on another flight.
However after a thorough scan, nothing suspicious was recovered.

A bomb threat or bomb scare is a threat, usually verbal or written, to detonate an explosive or incendiary device to cause property damage, death, injuries, and/or incite fear, whether or not such a device actually exists.
The scammer has been found to be mentally unstable and was travelling with his father.
SpiceJet also faced another bomb threat in March.
In March also Suspicious note indicated fake bomb scare on SpiceJet Boeing 737 from Guwahati Airport.
According to the Airport Authority of India (AAI), a piece of paper with a bomb scare note was found onboard the SpiceJet plane soon after the landing at Silchar Airport (IXS) in the afternoon of March 16, 2021.
The incident occurred after the airline’s Boeing 737, registered as VT-SLD, had just arrived from Guwahati Airport (GAU) with 109 passengers onboard and also a slip of paper with a bomb scare was detected under a passenger seat.
When the search was completed, the jet was approved for departure to New Delhi with 66 passengers onboard with no further incidents.
